Join a two-day interactive workshop for UCSF employees that approaches retirement as a meaningful life transition, rather than simply a career endpoint.
Through guided reflection, peer dialogue, and retiree insights, participants will explore the emotional, social, financial, and identity-related dimensions of retirement while developing a personalized plan for their next chapter.
The program also highlights ways to stay connected to the UCSF community through ongoing engagement.

What to Expect
Thriving Beyond UCSF: Preparing for Purposeful Retirement is a two-day interactive workshop designed to help UCSF employees approach retirement as a meaningful life transition rather than simply a career endpoint. Through guided reflection, expert facilitation, peer dialogue, and retiree insights, participants will explore the emotional, social, financial, and identity-related dimensions of retirement while developing a personalized plan for their next chapter. The program also highlights ways to remain connected to the UCSF community through continued engagement.

Applications due June 25
This pilot program is offered through a collaboration between the UCSF Department of Medicine Chair's Office, UCSF Benefits, the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), and the UCSF Retiree Association.
There is no cost to participate. Participation is voluntary and does not indicate an intent to retire.
